There's an article over at GOPUSA where Ann Coulter and Joseph Farah are having a tiff over Coulter's decision to give a speech to a gay Republican group. While it is every bit her right to do so and the group's right to hire her, sometimes you must consider moral ground before the money. This was my comment on the article:

While I will commend Beck, Farah and Coulter for standing up for what they believe, they, like me and you, have faults. Trying to forgive them in this day and age is definitely a challenge.

Anyone who criticizes Farah for what he did is missing the point he's trying to make. As a Christian, everyday you must make discerning choices as to what the Lord would have you to do. He obviously feels like Coulter made a bad choice by accepting the offer to give a speech to a bunch of gays. What political party they are makes no difference. What they represent, according to scriptures, is an abomination to God almighty. If Farah is to stand by his faith, he had to make the hard choice of dropping her from his presentation.

Coulter, of whom I've admired for her unfearing methods of standing up to the idiots in power, seems to have made a living off of sounding like she's a Christian, but ends up going with the mammon of choice instead of simple morals.

If she were really a friend of Farah's as was implied, she would have taken his decision in stride and wished him well and went on with her life. But, it would seem, she's the one choosing to be the publicity whore and make the big scene out of a man simply sticking by his beliefs.

If that's what she's thinking she is doing, then her beliefs include money over morals.

I think Ms. Coulter has not lost any of her republican credentials. However, I do think she has lost her moral creds.

If you are not of the belief that we are slowly losing our nation to progressives, communists, marxists, socialists, liberals, muzlims, perverts and other assorted non Christian groups, then you will disagree with what Farah is doing. No offense to gays, I have some acquaintances who are of that persuasion, but I don't berate them and shun them. I try to remember to pray for them so their soul won't be lost forever when they die and that their lifestyle will not be pushed on us as normal, because if God says it's an abomination to his creation, then it ain't normal.

It would seem that we don't have a functional justice dept any more. They let the black panthers off with a smack on the wrist. They go after Arizona for simply trying to defend themselves. They treat terrorists who wish us all dead as if they shoplifted a pkg of pencils at Kmart. Now, they've ignored the rights of children who's school decided to spy on them outside of school without any permission from parents.

This is simply dereliction of duty. Can they be jailed for that?

Just read this article about the 50 wackiest pet names for dogs and cats. Some were pretty funny. The #1 dog name was pickle von corndog. Instant classic!

Funny thing is there were a few names on there that I called some of my pets! We used to have a trio of cats that I called them the poopers, for obvious reasons. Their real names were Evie, Squirt and Callie. I called them Squeak, Squirt and Squally. Evie's meow-er didn't work when she was young, so I named her squeak. Squirt was a great name because he was so tiny when we got him, but he ended up being the largest of the 3. Callie was the grumpiest whiny cat I ever saw, so squally was a perfect fit. Made for a fun group of names.

Since then, Squirt and Callie have passed on, so we recently got 2 new kittens, after many many selections, we finally settled on Goober and Gomer. Now I refer to them as major trouble and general mayhem.

The Oil Spill in the Gulf has some weird implications

I'm wondering why obummer can't seem to make up his mind as to whether or not BP is the bad guy in the spill in the Gulf. Seems pretty easy to me: Either BP screwed up big time or not.

I guess the hard part is determining if the company that BP rented the oil rig from might be at fault somewhat, or perhaps the contractor that drilled the hole, or maybe the company that manufactured the parts that failed to create the mess in the first place. Maybe it's all of them. Maybe it's the failure of the government inspectors?

Regardless, I can't understand why obummer and his cronies haven't concentrated on fixing the leak but they can spend time pointing fingers, posing for good photo ops and making more useless speeches. And of course, no surprise here, make sure and not let a good crisis go to waste.....while the people of Louisiana start seriously considering what to do now that the oil business is officially being governmentally crippled....and the people of a nation are beginning to wonder if our leaders could manage their way out of an upside down paper bag.

I guess there's always the democratic approach: when in doubt, raise taxes, run away like a scared little girl, make empty promises, blame Bush/Republicans or create more regulation where it isn't needed.

My bet is that somehow, some way, BP oil is going to come out shining like a rose in the long run. The criminals in the white house and gang always need a scapegoat to hide behind and BP is the obvious choice, just like in the mortgage meltdown, Goldman-Sachs was one of the big scapegoats, now look at them: they're still in business and many of their board and leadership is now on obummer's personal staff in his illegally created task force.

I just can't get it out of my mind that BP oil was a big supporter of more regulations, taxes and other things to make the price of oil even higher that it was during the hurricane Katrina aftermath. They've been involved in several things that are diametrically opposed to good business practices when it comes to being a little too cozy with big government guys.

Don't you find it strange that just a mere few weeks after obummer supposedly lifted the drilling ban in a few unproductive areas that an oil rig mysteriously explodes, sinks and creates the worst man made natural disaster in history??? I do. Apparently, that's just the tip of the iceberg. It would seem that our glorious administration used an antiquated law to prevent countries with the technology and expertise to fix this disaster from helping fix it. Then, they drag their feet to make sure the oil comes ashore in wetland areas to cause the most harm to wildlife rather than approving Louisiana to make barrier islands out of sandbags.

Why isn't congress all over him about an impeachment? This is outright dereliction of duty to protect our nation and it's resources.

It's been an overly hectic 2 months. My local congressional candidate lost the primary by just around 1200 votes. Bummer. I had 2 servers crash at work (and not at the same time). Lost some personal time over that one. My lawnmower tried to kill me (but thank God I'm still here to tell the story). My cats are trying to spend all my money and the power won't stay on. The brakes went out on my pickup...while I was driving....right when someone pulled out in front of me.

Now, do you see why I picked this website name??

The NCAA has decided to make some more rule changes. Seems kinda childish to place the new rules about taunting. Sheesh, that's just part of the game and the psychological trips you take during play. The thought police in action, for sure!!

Just thought that if you didn't send any email to representative Hill during the run up to the health care vote, here's his official response, particularly if you used American Family Association's mail system to send a mail to him referencing funding for abortion.

I honestly don't know how this guy sleeps at night.

But the nice thing is that Mr. Travis Hankins (who I happen to be campaigning for) is making Mr. Hill nervous and we haven't even gotten to the primaries yet.

He (meaning Mr. Hill) verbally accosted 2 of my fellow campaigners in Rising Sun last week when he went to speak to the veterans there about health care. Yes, they were wearing Travis Hankins for congress shirts, but that just seemed to fire up Mr. Hill. (Too bad we didn't have a video camera on site.)

He ran up to one of them standing outside on the sidewalk, got nose to nose, and started yelling at her and eventually telling her she wasn't welcome there. Her response was that she thought that since she was HIS constituent, he'd be interested in trying to get her to switch her support and vote. Mr. Hill's award winning response was to tell her he didn't want her vote.

But remember, I told you there were 2 of my friends there. The other happens to be a veteran. So, she went inside to Mr. Hill's meeting, wearing a Travis Tshirt. Mr. Hill also told her she wasn't welcome there as she wasn't invited. After informing him of being a vet, he backed off.

I send you this because you know me and I'm not making this up. I want you to forward the info to other voters in our district as they need to be made aware of what a jerk this guy is. I've personally seen Mr. Hill yell at and degrade his own staff on a public street. This is not the kind of man I want representing me in Washington DC and I suspect you don't either, regardless of your political party.

Please know, all the experts agree the recent health care bill that was signed into law last week does allow for federal funds to be used to support abortion clinics. Mr. Hill is blatantly lying about that in his response letter below. The leading abortion providers have already stated that even the executive order that Obama signed a day or 2 later has no bearing on the abortion industry receiving federal funding and they were very happy about the results.

I know Mr. Hankins has promised me personally as well as countless others he will not support any kind of legislation such as this and will fight to end this and other legislation like it, once he's elected. So, I ask you to consider voting for Travis come primary day (May 4). He is running on the republican ticket. Thanks for your time and consideration.

Such measures have led noted religious organizations like the Catholic Health Association, the Catholic Sisters and the United Methodist Church to support H.R. 3590.

With my concerns regarding this issue addressed, and the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) rendering its fiscal report on H.R. 3590, I cast my vote in support of the reform legislation. This revised bill covers more uninsured Americans than the respective House and Senate bills, while also reducing the deficit more effectively. In fact, the CBO reported that the bill will reduce the deficit by $143 billion dollars during the first ten years of the program, and $1.2 trillion in the second ten years, effectively making it the biggest deficit reduction legislation since 1993.

This has been a long, deliberative and passionate process that has rendered a fiscally-responsible, inclusive and effective final product. Here's an interview posted on my local radio station site with our Indiana 9th district non representative, Baron Hill.

Poor Baron needs to be let out of the enclosed room he lives in. I can't believe this guy is actually dumb enough to use poll numbers that clearly show the American people do not want health care reform in this manner, but he still says that poll is distorted. He had to resort to polls from, shall we say, left leaning orgs to show the numbers even close to being evenly split.

The gall of this guy. A poll shows 70% of the people don't want this reform pkg, yet he said this is distorted. Sounds more like it to me that his brain is distorted. Check this unrelated poll.

I still wonder what kind of bribe the obummer administration offered him to get his vote. It's either that, or he's using his office for personal gain. I remember at a tea party protest he was brave enough to confront that he said he was pushing for this health care bill because his daughter was having trouble getting health care coverage for an existing condition. Which is it? Did you get a bribe, or are you making us pay for your daughter's health care coverage?

Hill is actually dumb enough to say:

People will begin to warm up to the health care changes once they begin seeing the benefits.

Would that be the massive tax hikes benefit, or the massive fines for people that don't want it, the massive forced inclusion of people into the system that don't need it, or the massive increase of IRS employees to coerce us into buying into this load of crap? What about the portion that says it's mandatory that I have an RFID chip implanted in me so they can keep track of me?

Or perhaps the death panels option? Poor Baron seems to believe this is a myth. Hmm. Well, I guess poor Baron still hasn't read the bill because it is now officially up to the government as to whether or not you will be able to receive the health care you seek. If that happens to be life threatening, then I'd say we can call that a death panel.

My request of poor Baron is this: put it up to a vote and see just what the people of the 9th district believe. I'll bet it's not what you wish it was.

I am just so thrilled that the non representatives of the people of this nation voted in more legislation we didn't want or ask for. Great. Not.

There are so many places to point the finger of blame for this, but we the people are the most responsible. We either didn't really check on who we voted for or just was plain lazy and voted for the letter beside the name. That's what got us in the boat we are now in.

Sure, bribe-em obummer, liar-liar-pants-on-fire pelosi and the-biggest-loser reid are the enablers and champions of this unconstitutional horrid-ness. But for the last step in the journey, I'd like to place the finger of blame on the forehead of "the last straw" congressman Bart Stupak of Michigan.

I believe Mr. Stupak had no intention of keeping funds for abortions out of the bill all along. I think he was just the chosen one to bear the brunt of the people. Think about it. Stupak was recorded prior to the house version that he would still vote for the legislation even if the abortion industry was kept out of it.

Some Christians were duped from the start into believing this bill would include language to prevent funding of abortions. What it really did was disable formidable organizations such as AFA and FRC from fighting the real problem of socialized health care and the damage it will do to American families. They were not pushing to kill the bill from the start because the entire package was wrong for America....they were only focused on abortion.

Mr. Stupak, you are an embarrassment to the American people. May God have mercy on your soul.

Facts that aren't quite factual

It would seem that my esteemed representative to the congress of these United States has a bit of a problem with facts. Or better described, he has a problem with getting them straight.

The Mrs. sent me a link on the local radio station site (which would seem to be a supporter of poor Baron) news site where Mr. Hill would seem to be a tad bit upset about some organization that is stepping up to the plate and calling a spade a spade. Or better yet, they're calling political lies political lies.

I actually laughed out loud when I read the name of the 2 sites that poor Baron said people should go "check what these ads are saying". The 2 sites are known liberal/progressive outlets for "facts" that happen to support the liberal/progressive cause (or pet project of the day).

Poor Baron said this org (Employers for a Healthy Economy) that produced the attack ads is made up of insurance companies. Well, I took poor Baron up on his offer and went to look up not the "facts in question", but poor Baron's fact of this org being just insurance companies.

GUESS WHAT!!!!!

They're a bunch of companies that do actual work and have actual people doing work! I'm trying to figure out how the Master Electrical Contractors of Dayton managed to become an insurance company? (I'm sure they would too!) And the hundreds of other companies on there that obviously aren't insurance companies became that way in poor Baron's eyes?????

My guess is that poor Baron didn't bother to check anything out other than spouting off the party lines and dribble just to try to make this go away. Well, ladies and gents, it's time to start questioning what poor Baron has been telling us for the last several years. If he can't get this simple thing right, how can he possibly get any of the more complicated things right? Especially 2000+ page congressional bills?

He must really think the people in the 9th district of Indiana are really stupid.

My local dearest representative, Mr. Hill, has decided at the last minute to start bribing his constituents. The locals have been asking for high speed internet for over 10 years, but because it's mostly all rural, nobody was interested in the ROI. (Odds are it's a negative number)

The feds have been saying they were going to subsidize getting high speed in the rural areas 3 or 4 presidential elections ago, so maybe something will happen so they can spend even more money.

Wow. Imagine that!

The FCC has officially been giving out money for this based on an application process, which I guess all providers in rural areas are eligible to do. Why just at this moment did Mr Hill get off his keister and take credit for the success of the application process??

If you have any clue to what is going on in politics these days, I'm sure you might be aware of the involvement of a PAC called MoveOn.org. These cutthroats are the lunatic fringe of the liberal side of the democrat party. They are funded by George Soros, the ultra billionaire from another country, with one agenda: the total destruction of the USA as we have known it to be.

They hide behind the hijacked label of democrat. These guys are not democrats in any way shape or form. They're socialists/marxists/commies/progressives bent only destroying the one decent thing left on the planet preventing them to totally take over the planet. The Good ole USA.

If the $1 million people just donated isn't a sign of voters' anger with corporate Democrats in Washington, then what is?

On the other hand, Blanche Lincoln consistently sides with Republicans on important legislation. And polls show she's wildly unpopular back home--so she has very little chance of winning in November even if she gets the Democratic nomination.

Now most people think Blanche is not going get re-elected based on some of the stuff she's done and said. But to have your own party members come down on you because you waffled a little on one of the bigger agenda items is pretty lethal.

It seems that the president has stooped even further down from his past bribes (ie: the Louisiana purchase, the Cornhusker kickback) as he's just given one of the defiant democrats' brothers a nomination to an appellate court position. That's pretty bold of BHO.

Anyway, take a look at the paragraph above I colored red. It would seem they're blaming this on the senator and "corporate interests". Funny, I think she's voted several times as her constituents want and yet mystical all powerful corporate interests are blamed. These idiots don't care what the American people want, they only care what they want and they have conned a bunch of people into believing their hogwash. And all disguised as democrat in nature.

It's put our great nation into an even greater amount of peril. When we fall, there will be no other nations left that stand for freedom and the little guy. That'll be it and they'll be able to start their run to rule the planet.

Court idiots

I applaud Montana's legislature for standing up to govt tyranny where it comes to 2nd amendment rights. I think all 50 states should do the same. That said....

But, Montana apparently isn't the bastion of freedom my previous sentence would lead you to believe. A court there has ruled against free speech, which is a constitutional violation imho.

Some kid who was a valedictorian at her high school had to have her speech approved. (When did that start by the way?) And the mentally challenged judge ruled against her 1 mention of Jesus and 1 mention of God, neither in which case was she using in prayer or preaching.

I don't understand how schools can force a valedictorian to allow them to "approve" their speech. That should be considered a violation of their free speech rights to begin with. You would think if a kid was smart enough to be valedictorian, their speech would reflect a little bit of the mental meddle required to give such a speech that would have meaning to the giver as well as the audience. I submit that most valedictorians have more mental meddle than this particular court judge.

Why is congress and the president ignoring our constitution?

Why is the media ignoring this?

The anti Christian lawyers union (aclu) seems to get a LOT of media play because they seem to have found something in the constitution called separate of church and state, whereas nobody has been able to show me where exactly that is in the constitution (but I digress).

Why doesn't anyone in the media start a big ruckus about just how unconstitutional these big spending bills are, not because they spend money, but because they constantly impose more controls on society that there is no authority given to the government to do such? The takeover of the banks, the big car companies, and the potential takeover of healthcare and energy are just 2 more examples of this unconstitutional power grab the govt is taking.

How are we to battle this?

Praying people should be constantly talking to God about this as that would seem to be the only way out at this point. I realize Americans and the capitalist system we live in can repair itself on it own, if only the govt would leave it alone. It has rebounded every single time, even with some govt meddling in the past. But the govt has never meddled this much before. This is dangerous to our very existence.

If you don't believe this, look at the debt our federal govt has amassed at this point. If they didn't spend another dime, it will take at least 2 generations just to pay it off. What happens when the debt collectors come knocking?

It certainly looks like it's being done on purpose to destroy our way of life. I've always known there are a lot of jealous people in the world that really hated us because we were a very blessed nation. However, it would seem that there are now some supposed Americans who have been convinced of this as well and they seem hell bent on making us pay for their jealousy.

I guess that we always are the 1 nation that comes to the rescue when there is a problem or tragedy somewhere and nobody ever remembers that.

I would also urge you to start looking at your potential candidates for election next year. We need to fill every seat with someone that would pass at least 1 bill to make it law that the govt HAS to have a balanced budget.

Movie recollection time!

There's a scene in the Bruce Willis action flick "Die Hard" where the bad guys are about to break thru the last layer of protection on the safe (keeping them from millions in bonds) when the electrical locks take over and they're left with no ability to go further (kind of a hokey plot premise, if you're really worried about the plot at this point of the film).

When the guy cutting thru the layers of the safe expresses his grief over this new found supposedly unbreakable layer of protection, the head bad guy says something to the affect of don't worry, it's Christmas, a time of miracles!

Then, the tough FBI guys decide to cut the power to the bldg which deactivates the locks on the safe. When this happens, the head bad guy says something like, you look for miracles, I give you the FBI. And suddenly they're in the safe getting their loot.

Now, imagine this for a minute....

The democrats have long decried the Republicans as slavedrivers, taskmasters, bigots, and all kinds of the worst adjectives that conjure up terrible mental descriptions of what the Republican party is. Let's not go where I could easily go (the democrats are actually slavedrivers and bigots).

Anyway, they've been trying to tear the party down with all kinds of comments and rumors, etc wishing for the miracle that us conservatives would just go away.

Well, apparently, it's Christmas, and the democrats were awarded their miracle in the form of Michael Steele heading the Republican party. Merry Christmas, liberals. What a racist idiot.

He needs to be ousted as much as the obummer, reid and pelosi tyrants do. Then maybe the Republicans can be brought back to the real conservatism it should be following, not the obamalite faction they have become.

There seems to be a hidden project of the government to bail out the unions. Look at the HUGE bonus they got by getting rewarded with board seats at the car companies. They have a man at the top of one of the largest banks in the world now.

All for what?? Because the teamsters in Chicago did someone a favor?

I say that because that's where the obummer is from and he appears to be rewarding all his cronies from there, especially the unions.

There might have been a time in the past where a union cleaned up a problem from an employer, but by and large they have been immense drags on society, the general consumer and especially the working man/woman.

Case in point. This is nothing short of outright torture, not to mention a complete waste of taxpayer/postage money.

Another case in point. My niece got a job at a local grocery store, which has been infected for a long time with a union. Her first check was for like 10$ because the union had it's fingers in the pie first. This is a great way to introduce our youth to the work force. Nice job, you bunch of co**ies.

What a stupid bunch of un-American rules. Looks to me like there would be things to keep these guys busy. Let's say, maybe, sweep the floors, clean the bldg, the grounds, the flower beds, etc. Sheesh, clean the trucks. If you're paying them to stand in an empty room, at least send them over to my post office where you have to wait half a day in line to have a pkg weighed.

I live the 9th district in Indiana, currently under-represented by Baron Hill. He was one of the scare-dy cat democrats who chose not to have public town hall meetings this summer when people were springing up out of their chairs and actually deciding to get up and say something about this sham called health care reform.

Apparently, this scared him. However, he found that what few events he did go to that were unplanned with the public turned out to be rather civil and mostly occupied by concerned citizens. This got him to drop his guard long enough to commit to at least 1 public meeting and unbelievably, he said he wasn't going to allow his constituents to tell him how to run his office.

I think he's been in office way too long. He has certainly forgot who put him there and who he is supposed to be representing.

I wonder.....who was it doing the blowing up in this meeting???

The obummer campaigned on fundamental change to America. All the poor people screamed yay! Of course, they're expecting to be brought up out of the poverty they exist in now. Yay! A new ray of hope! Some even expected it on a silver platter.

However, the rest of us shudder to think that our worst fears and projections from late last fall are coming to fruition. The latest thing I hear is that the anointed one is calling for a longer school year.

What exactly this will accomplish (on the plus side) is beyond me. Obummer must really have it out for the working people and entrepreneurs. Does he hate us that much?

This sort of requirement will have the wonderful side affect of making more children than ever come back to school after running away from the worthless institution it has become now. Force the poor little tykes into more indoctrination, yeah, that'll help.

Let's see, what all can I wreck in the economy this week? Tourism, motels, airlines, travel oriented companies, anyone or company that employees people with children, and who knows what else. Where is SEIU in responding to this new disaster in the making????

Good Lord, I can just see the arguments starting over who gets the week off and who doesn't with this type of arrangement.

This is the type of stuff that every state in the union should be declaring their 10th amendment rights, if they haven't already. The federal government needs to get their nose out of the education business before it completely fails the entire nation.

I'm so happy. Just think. The government is doing to the car buisiness and the education system what it has done to the post office, medicare, banking and real estate. If it weren't for the failures of the banking and real estate markets, we wouldn't be in this position right now. And those would not have failed if the govt had kept their noses out of them.

I sat down at my pc this past Saturday to do some work on a church project and flipped the tv on just for the noise. But sometimes, things happen that change your day completely. Apparently, the last time the tv was on, it was on the Fox News Channel (FNC), so that was what I got when powering back on.

To say the least, I was not prepared for what I heard. Before I could spin back around in my chair, a public service announcement came on the air wishing the children of Israel happy new year (Rosh Hashannah). I was just so blessed to hear this as I couldn't believe I just heard this on a national broadcast station, even if it was FNC. As it turns out, Glenn Beck was coming on the air and his monologue was a rerun from Thursday or Friday, but I didn't listen much as I was still in awe of seeing this clip on there for Rosh Hashannah.

Finally, a commercial came on at the end of his monologue and I turned back around to start on my project and I noticed that Beck went to a live segment, or one from a show I had missed. Anyway, in it, he had a guest on (that I can't remember the name of, it may have been George Foreman) and they were discussing the general direction of our great nation. It definitely wasn't the right way, not even considering my opinion of that, as they started mentioning all the problems with obummer's cabinet, plus the acorn scandal and others.

Then, Beck asked his guest a question. He asked "What is wrong with America? What do we need to do about this?" (At least as I remember his questions....) I thought to myself...I know what is wrong...they have abandoned God. They need to turn from their wickedness and get on their knees and ask for forgiveness before God completely forsakes us.

Then, to my amazement, Beck says almost the same exact thing. I was flabbergasted. Twice, in less than an hour, this news network had all but knocked me out of my chair. If I was amazed at the Rosh Hashannah clip, I was blown away by this. I was so wildly blessed, that all I could do was to weep.

Then this morning, I read this blog entry on Big Hollywood from actress Victoria Jackson. Wow, I'm just amazed at how God can lift your spirits up this way. Thank you Lord!

Well, if you've been living under a rock, (or just depending on ABC, NBC, CBS or a few other news agencies) then you might not be aware of the huge scandal going on with ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now). Videos made by a couple of young eager journalists to be took it upon themselves to risk life and limb to go after a really corrupt organization, so far in 4 cities. Rumor has it there will be more films released, but these first 4 are bad enough to warrant a criminal investigation.

Now, I just learned that ACORN has supposedly initiated a self audit of that branch of their operation to get to the bottom of what actually happened. Yep, they had 4 separate branches give out the same felonious advice. On tape no less. I think most of us could figure the outcome of that audit already.

All the videos are on this site. Go get your drink, and sit down for a while. just bring plenty of napkins so you can quickly wipe up what you spit out while watching this.

I pray for the safety and continued diligence shown by these 2 young Americans. I also hope they inspire what few real reporters that might be left in an increasingly hostile to reality field.

The more I hear about healthcare, the more I think the politicians needs to stay away from it. They're only intent on destroying it, not making it more available. Apparently, they are truly ashamed that we have managed to build the best health care system on the planet and can't stand it that anyone can get health care here.

This is what I wrote in my letter:

I've read and heard a lot of the hyperbole coming from the Washington DC elite about the "health care reform" legislation and I'd like to add my take on it.

I don't think any of the versions I've heard, read or seen of the legislation being covered by any news source is to be considered as reform.

If you truly wanted health care reform, there would be 2 major initial changes enacted already that would allow competition from state instead of the current method where only a few companies are allowed to compete in given areas.

If you are serious about this, you'd also come up with some torte reform that would keep the doctors from constantly being concerned about malpractice insurance premiums. Most dr's push unneeded tests and even ignore critical patients because they're concerned about being sued over something stupid.

These 2 things alone would make healthcare more available and affordable than anything else you could legislate. Why aren't these even being considered in these bills?

Even my representative, Baron Hill, has stated it will take upwards of 10 years to make real reform work well for Americans.

So, my ultimate question is "What is the big hurry??"

It looks to me like a tax hungry congress has found just another way to bleed us of our ever decreasing hard earned dollars and they're using the guise of reforming health care as a cover.

Please stop spending these untold amounts of money and leave health care out of it, before you kill us.

All the fuss over us internet users who don't have journalism degrees...where have we heard that before? It seems someone has managed to get the govt involved in the fray now. Most of us know what the problems are.

One, the internet is (at least for the time being) unrestricted and anyone can use their first amendment rights to free speech to publish on here what they wish.

Two, mainstream publications put their content on here so people will read it because the cost of the printed version is now higher than anyone wishes to pay.

Three, and most important, the mainstream journalists are for the most part Democrat/Socialist/Communist/Obama worshippers and most of them don't have a clue what most of us Americans actually would read from them. This is the main reason why the big publishers are having problems and they don't have a clue.

If they did, Fox News would have some real competition.

26. Promised the American people that all propose legislation would be posted on the internet for all Americans to read for FIVE DAYS before he would sign it. Yeah, right. He broke this promise a dozen times already.

A new first

I did something last Thursday I have never done before. I attended and participated in a protest. Made my own sign and everything! It was actually kinda fun, even though it was really hot outside. I had to burn a vacation day to do so, but it was worth it to me. It was kinda loosely organized by a local group called We the Hoosiers.

If you look down 2 posts at the 'Baron Hill is a coward' post, you'll see why I went to this protest. Mr. Hill (my Indiana representative to the US congress) was scheduled to give a private speech to the local American legion post in Lawrenceburg, IN. He has several of these "private" (read: no public allowed) meetings scheduled during the summer recess, but no public meetings. Combine that with him calling people that disagree with him a terrorist....well, you decide.

Gosh, I guess he doesn't deal too well with a constituency that he's just about completely torqued off. I still stand by my accusation that he's a coward. Here's why....

While at this protest (there were about 40-50 people there), Mr. Hill shows up and goes in the back door from an alley approach. He did not drive past any of the protesters this way. One of the guys in the group saw him as he got out of a car and yelled at him we'd like to ask some questions.

Not knowing if this got his attention or not, we decided to stake the 4 corners of the property out to make sure he couldn't get out without us at least trying to ask any questions. After he gave his speech, he sent one of his lackeys, er I mean helpers outside to tell us he'd come out and speak to us only if we could contain ourselves and not get ugly.

Funny, he starts the conversation off by accusing us of doing something we had in no way shape or form shown in the hour and 15 minutes we'd been out there. One of the guys I was speaking with was much faster on his feet than me and asked the best response question by asking what exactly did we do to make Mr. Hill think we were going to be disruptive. We didn't disrupt his speech or do anything else ugly while on the sidewalk.

So, a half and hour later, 2 policemen show up and then Mr. Hill comes outside. There was no violence shown, no ugly language from anyone that I heard, or anything else that would make him think we were going to be really stupid and start something. Most importantly, no liberals were outside stirring the pot. I'm thinking that's a pretty good recipe for a peaceful demonstration and a meaningful dialogue if he happens to hold up his end of the bargain.

The funniest thing to happen was that someone eventually asked if he was going to read the bill from cover to cover this time and Mr. Hill was the one to get ugly. He was shouting and even yelled at one of his employees. What a jerk.

I personally didn't get to ask any questions as everyone else closer to him was asking the same things I wanted to ask.

I was rather disturbed by his approach to the entire matter though. He referred to the current bill as HR3200, which is pretty well known by now. However, apparently, whenever they make a change to the bill, it doesn't change any markings or denotations, such as RevA or Mod2 or anything, it just keeps the same HR #. (No wonder congress is screwing us up to quickly) The conversation got a bit heated a few times when people would ask questions about all the stuff flying around on the internet and Mr. Hill got angry because some of the data supposedly has been removed from the bill (HR3200).

The problem with this is there are more than 1 bills in circulation up there and Mr. Hill even said there were at least 5 of them. I was only aware of the one in the House and the one in the Senate at the time.

But, Mr. Hill's true colors do show when you fluster him a bit, as is no different with any of us humans. When pressing him about certain wordings and sections in the bill, at one particular question, he said he wasn't aware of that being in the bill and he would check on it. Ok fine. Then, later when asked about something else, he said we had old information and it wasn't in the bill and most likely the one he wasn't aware probably wasn't in there either.

Sounds innocent enough, right?

But I thought he read it from cover to cover?

I don't know about you, but I have a real problem with that.

Sadly, the debate is changing, as it always does with liberals. When they find themselves on the losing end of the stick, they always change the subject. (Or start calling you names, such as political terrorists). They've discovered that the American people do not want healthcare to be managed by the government (easy examples of what happens when they do would be Amtrack and the post office).

You may also be aware of the recent hot water episode for the white house where the staff members have resorted to sending regular junk mails via the WH site to unsuspecting Americans. I got one of them and it even asked me to forward the msg onto others.

Yeah, right. I'm sure gonna send propaganda from a socialist lackey to my friends. Not.

Anyway, I get this msg from the lead propagandist at the white house which tells me that the health care bill does not contain language to do with euthanasia. Later on that day, it's reported that the senate had just that day removed language from their bill regarding euthanasia.

Interesting....Mr. Hill has just told me there isn't anything in the bill to do with euthanasia yet the bill I had read on the internet had the language and a day later, the senate actually removes such language from their version of the bill.

What this shows me is that the liberals, who don't normally give a micron, have changed their approach from creating a new insurance industry controlled by the govt to the same industry, but will be regulated heavily.

What everyone still seems to be failing to miss is that if these kinds of regulations are actually placed on the insurance companies, then we will all suffer because they (the insurance companies) will simply cease to provide their services, or the prices will be so high that even less people will have coverage than do now. And it won't be by choice. We simply won't have the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Please do all of us a favor and get involved with this issue. We cannot afford "health insurance reform", especially without some legal reforms.

Remember the biggest costs in the health insurance industry is regulation and lawsuits. Fix those, the price automatically goes down for everybody.

Baron Hill (my Indiana district representative - and local elected failure) is showing his true colors. He has now resorted to the easy way out of a disagreement by using the standard form of exit by all democrats these days....by calling you a name then leaving.

Yeah, I believe 4th graders do that too.

He was interviewed by the Washington Post and called anyone who disagrees with him a terrorist.

My fellow Americans, please hear this:
This is what the Democrats/liberals think of anyone who disagrees with them: They literally think you are a terrorist.

I guess they feel they must call us that because we upset their Utopian apple cart.

Apparently the old adage applies to old Baron as well... if you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch. He's must be really afraid of the very people that elected him.

He said in the wapo article that he is trying to control the event. I'm sorry Mr. Hill, but the event is not yours to control. You didn't appoint yourself to that office, we the people elected you and now you're too afraid to meet with us to give us ANY reason (that will actually hold water) you lied to us about how you will be a "blue dog". You're an insult to dogs everywhere.

Mr Hill, I have not met one single person who is in favor of any health care reform. What I've learned in my short years on this planet is that health care is expensive. I've learned that the biggest reason it is expensive is due to lots of regulations. Why don't you fix some of that problem, then more people can afford to get better health care coverage.

Lots of people have lost their healthcare coverage since the first of the year due to stuff you are doing in Congress.

If you wish to truly help people, fix stuff that's actually broken first. Like you could start by cleaning out fannie mae and freddie mac. Then place some TIGHT controls on the FED so they'd stop wrecking the economy. Then stop giving TONS of bailout money to banks, car companies and the like. Then, place some limits on frivolous lawsuits against Dr.'s and insurance companies (and allow the FDA to be equally liable). You are literally wasting untold amounts of money on useless things and programs while not even addressing what you are doing to our future.

You're wrecking it and hiding behind your democrat coattails. Please, just resign and give it up before you kill us all.

Here's some questions for you:
1. Will you vote for a bill that contains language that forces congress to abide by the same healthcare rules that the general citizenry does?
2. Will vote for a bill that forces elderly people to get counseling on how to end their life willingly?
3. Will you vote for a bill that allows anyone other than the family of a sick/injured person to pull the plug?
4. Will you vote for a bill that allows for funding of fetus murder?
5. Will you vote for a bill that prevents me in any way of purchasing my own health insurance?
6. Will you vote for a bill that forces me in any way to drop my current healthcare plan?
7. Will you vote for a bill that forces a doctor to include any consideration of cost in his choice offerings to a patient?
8. Will you vote for a bill that places cost above a human life? (don't spend money if the patient only lives another year)
9. Will you actually read this bill from front to back before voting on it?

Now, Mr. Hill, I'm all ears. Convince me I'm wrong (without using a lawyer).

Our church is having their annual vacation bible school (VBS) this week, as do most churches. If you don't go to church, this is a great way to get your kids in church and some simple acquaintance with biblical teachings. If you don't go to church, I strongly urge you to find a good church and start attending regularly.

I know I put a lot of political stuff on here, but I do that because this current political climate is not good for me, my family, my friends or my fellow countrymen. It's simply taking our nation down a slippery slope we may never be able to climb back up.

But that aside, if your church is having trouble deciding on what to do for a vacation bible school theme, I'd like to suggest the Creation Museum offering of Operation Space, or the one we did last year, Amazon expedition. Both are fantastic pkgs and are not expensive to get started. If your church has several people who are willing to get pitch in for a small period of time, this can be a great project for your church and your children, which is the future of our churches.

I, no not just me, but we are really excited to see what the museum can come up with next year for a VBS pkg! It will be great, if they're anything like the first 2 they've done.

As for you that don't quite believe all this, you should take the time to find a God fearing church to attend. Yeah, I've heard all the excuses of the church wanting money and fame and brainwashing, etc. But if you've been fooled by these comments, or worse, you've been to a church that actually did these things, then you have been fooled by the devil himself.

He only exists to destroy the church and the people on this planet. He doesn't want us to worship God and he will fill your head with all kinds of ideas and convince you the church and God is your enemy. Please don't fall prey to these ideas.

If you have found a truly God fearing church, then you will finally understand all the blessings and joy that God has for you and your life.

He can take away all the pain and suffering around you and your well being, but you have to first accept that He can.

I do not share his view of amnesty and giving more to illegals than American Citizens who need help.

I do not share his views on homosexuality and his definition of marriage.

I do not share his views that Radical Islam is our friend and Israel is our enemy who should give up any land.

I do not share his spiritual beliefs (at least the ones he has made public).

I do not share his beliefs on how to re-work the healthcare system in America.

I do not share his Strategic views of the Middle East, and certainly do not share his plan to sit down with terrorist regimes such as Iran.

Bottom line, my America is vastly different from Obama's, and I have a higher obligation to my Country and my God to do what is Right!

For eight (8) years, the Liberals in our Society, led by numerous entertainers who would have no platform and no real credibility but for their celebrity status, have attacked President Bush, his family, and his spiritual beliefs!

They have not moved toward the center in their beliefs and their philosophies, and they never came together nor compromised their personal beliefs for the betterment of our Country!

They have portrayed my America as a land where everything is tolerated except being intolerant!

They have been a vocal and irreverent minority for years; they have mocked and attacked the very core value so important to the founding and growth of our Country!

They have made every effort to remove the name of God or Jesus Christ from our Society!

They have challenged capital punishment, the right to bear firearms, and the most basic principles of our criminal code; they have attacked one of the most fundamental of all Freedoms, the right of free speech!

Unite behind Obama? Never!

I am sure many of you who read this think that I am going overboard, but I refuse to retreat one more inch in favor of those whom I believe are the embodiment of Evil!

PRESIDENT BUSH made mistakes during his Presidency, and I am not sure how history will judge him. However, I believe that he weighed his decisions in light of the long established Judeo-Christian principles of our Founding Fathers!!!

Majority rules in America, and I will honor the concept; however, I will fight with all of my power to be a voice in opposition to Obama and "his goals for America."

I just found out I have spent my last penny at home depot. Apparently, they've joined the ranks of pepsico and are now actively donating money to gay events. I hope Christians everywhere boycott home depot. This is sad to have a profitable company spend their profits on sinful behaviors, but worse spend it on teaching sinful behaviors.

It was really hard to do, but I've stopped buying and consuming pepsi products, so I can do the same with the hardware stuff.

Healthcare plan: FAIL

Well, there's lots of stuff being said (at least on conservative websites) about the health care proposals being offered by the govt. I'm trying to figure out something and see if you can get your brain into hyperlock on this....

The legislators create an expensive plan that doesn't really do any better than what is there now, it's just an overpriced under-functional HMO. Anyway, they put a provision in this bill to try to get old people to kill themselves so nobody will have to help take care of them, then they exempt themselves from the plan.

I'm guessing that otherwise, half of the congress would be killing themselves off in about 90 days or less of actuating the plan??

An ode to Saturn

I'm on my 3rd Saturn and it will be the last one. The 1st one was a 95 SL1, which is the reason I got the other 2, but they so far are not as good as the 1st one. I had 214k on the SL1 and gave it to a friend of mine who was having a car shortage. He got another 60K out of it before falling asleep (working 2 jobs) and crashing it. The 2nd car was an 02 Vue. This one made a lot of return trips to the repair shop but the SL1 never did other than normal maintenance (except for a cracked head at 128k).

While owning the Vue, we purchased our 3rd, an L300. The L300 had to go back to the dealer the very next day after purchasing it, as the electrical system didn't work properly. All the electrical devices in the car blinked on and off constantly, so the gave me a different one, which never did get prepped as the 1st one did. I've still got the window sticker tape on the windshield and passenger window as a reminder of "great customer service". The lights still blink periodically too. Great.

But back to the Vue...shortly after getting the L300, we noticed one of the passenger window motors on the Vue wasn't moving the window at the correct speed (REALLY slow up and down), so we took it back to the dealer and they said the motor controller was bad and we'd need a replacement. They didn't have any in stock on the next trip, so the trip after that, we got a new motor. Turns out my regular warranty had expired and they charged my wife the 100$ deductible for a repair that should have been fully covered.

Obviously, that was the last time I set foot in that dealership. But since I've left their loving care, I've found out the same guy owns all the Saturn dealers in the greater Cincinnati area, so even tho my Saturn warranty may still be fully covered by the company, I've no where to take the car any more. I say that because the dealer that I bought the L300 from told me the blinking lights were normal for that model. Yeah, right.

I still could have been convinced to buy another Saturn tho up until last fall. Something expensive happened to the engine in the Vue at 85k. It was going to require a 2500$ fix, which was out of extended warranty (time passed, so I lost the rest of the mileage on my extension). I tried to work a deal with them on buying a new Outlook, which the wife and I really liked, but they wouldn't work any deal at all. We looked at the same model Buick & GMC. After driving all 3 and looking at the options, we bought the Buick. The single reason I didn't get the Outlook was because for 43k$, it was cheap looking on the inside. Everything on the dash was black plastic....not my idea of a 40k$ car.

So, I have severed my Saturn ties. Since the "bailout, I've also purchased my last GM car/truck. Too bad too, because I've always liked them. I was kinda hoping on hearing the news that Penske bought Saturn, it might become the organization it was back in the 90's so we'd see a decent car being produced there again.....will that ever happen? If it does and GM doesn't have their hand in it, I might buy one again.

Read the following story that was sent to me and
May it change the way that you may think about prayer
and also the way you pray. You will be blessed by this....

A missionary on furlough told this true story while
Visiting his home church in Michigan .

'While serving at a small field hospital in Africa ,
Every two weeks I traveled by bicycle
Through the jungle to a nearby city for supplies..
This was a journey of two days and
Required camping overnight at the halfway point.

On one of these journeys, I arrived in the city
Where I planned to collect money from a bank,
Purchase medicine, and supplies, and then begin
My two-day journey back to the field hospital.

Upon arrival in the city, I observed two men fighting,
One of whom had been seriously injured.
I treated him for his injuries and at the same time
Talked to him about the Lord.

I then traveled two days, camping overnight, and
Arrived home without incident....

Two weeks later I repeated my journey
Upon arriving in the city,
I was approached by the young man I had treated.
He told me that he had known I carried
Money and medicines.
He said, 'Some friends and I followed you in to the jungle,
Knowing you would camp overnight.
We planned to kill you and take your money and drugs..
But just as we were about to move into your camp,
We saw that you were surrounded by 26 armed guards.

At this, I laughed and said that I was
Certainly all alone in that jungle campsite..
The young man pressed the point, however, and said,
'No, sir, I was not the only person to see the guards,
My friends also saw them, and we all counted them.
It was because of those guards that
We were afraid and left you alone.'

At this point in the sermon,
One of the men in the congregation jumped to his feet and
interrupted the missionary and asked if he could tell him the
exact day this happened.. The missionary told the congregation
the date, and The man who interrupted told him this story:

'On the night of your incident in Africa ,
It was morning here and I was preparing to go play golf.
I was about to putt when I felt the urge to pray for you.
In fact, the urging of the Lord was so strong,
I called men in this church to meet with me here
In the sanctuary to pray for you.

Would all of those men who met with me on that day stand up?'
The men who had met together to pray that day stood up.
The missionary wasn't concerned with whom they were,
He was too busy counting how many men he saw.

There were 26.

This story is an incredible example of how the Spirit of the Lord
moves in behalf of those who love Him.
If you ever feel such prodding to pray, go along with it,
you don't know what it can mean to that person..

Nothing is ever hurt by prayer except the gates of hell.
I encourage you to forward this to as many people as you know.
If we all take it to heart,
We can turn this world toward God once again.
As the above true story clearly illustrates,

I just finished reading a good book. It's called Makers and Takers by Peter Schweizer. Good read and a bit mind boggling if you go too fast. This person has taken the statistical results of a bunch of national surveys and actually made sense of them, especially from a political point of view.

He basically takes the claims that liberals make and uses these statistics to show just how wrong the liberals are. Like, conservatives are stupid....not really. They generally have more education and score better on all sorts of tests and this guy backs that up.

They've been on a push to eliminate anything that uses any sort of stored energy. That leaves energy created by means only provided prior to Edison's inventions, or maybe a little earlier. Have you noticed that the earth worshipers (I.E. green movement) seem to be against anything that uses stored energy? Batteries, oil, coal?

If they can't kill it one way, they kill it another. The liberal elite are so jealous of the middle class, that they are intent only on completely removing anything remotely resembling comfort and capability. They have lots of lovely catch phrases, like buckle up: it's the law. Do they really care if you smash your face all over the pavement?

No, because if you do, you won't be using stored energy any more. All seat belt laws are for is to force you into more control by means other than self and to extract more of your hard earned dollars from your pocket for no apparent reason.

They don't want you to use any kind of electric but solar. The reason is that solar power doesn't create enough stored energy to be useful, unless you can build a field of collectors the size of Rhode Island. I'm sure that'll be in danger as soon as it's chic to start worshiping the sun again.

Kalifornia just successfully requisitioned the EPA to increase fuel efficiency requirements of vehicles, and if I read the article right, if paves the way for that rule to be applied to all 50 states. What exactly does that mean to you and I that doesn't live in the Politburo of Kalifornia?

It means you will no longer be able to choose a car or truck that meets YOUR needs, only what meets what the govt THINKS you need. Fuel efficient? Yep. Power? Nope. You'll be lucky to find something that will haul 4 bales of hay down a steep hill after this is fully implemented. Tykes on trikes will go faster down the sidewalk that you will be able with these new cars.

Better be finding a good pair of shoes (if there even are any left) and start working on those leg muscles....

You were born out of sorrow and oppression. For over 2 centuries people from all over the world have risked everything, including their lives to come here, to leave that sorrow and oppression, and be a part of your success. Now, you have now filled your electorate with the very type of people you ran away from to create this once wonderful nation.

A close friend sent me a link to a website the other day called born again American. It has lots of stuff on the website to check out, which basically looks like a more or less patriotic site if you watch the first video. The main video has a song called "born again American" that sung by a bunch of different people and pieced together nicely in a pretty good video.

But there's another video linked on the lower part of the page that says it's going to "inspire, connect, and bring peace to the world through song". This made my skin crawl.

First, just so you know, there is only 1 way to peace. That is thru Jesus Christ, my Lord and savior. All other signs and methods will get you no where. Remember that for the rest of your life. You're going to need it.

And since there is only 1 way to peace, then this video is a complete failure. It doesn't mention Christ or His saving grace or the peace that He brings.

Then when you think about it, neither does the main title video about born again American. It's a really good attempt to bolster your thoughts and feeling about this country of ours, but it misses the point. Christ is what makes us strong and Christ is what makes our nation strong.

When you have a president that waltzes around the globe telling everyone that we're NOT Christian, when the very principles of Christianity is what the nation was founded upon, well then you have a serious problem.

Our once great nation is in turmoil because we're tearing the roots of our beginnings out. We're trying to rip all mention and knowledge of the saving grace of Christ.

We have poverty in our streets because we have forgotten the love of Christ. We have outrageous court actions between citizens and businesses because we have forgotten the forgiveness of Christ. We have outrageous prices for the smallest and simplest of things because we have forgotten the grace of Christ. We have elected officials in office that trample over us and our constitutional rights because we have forgotten the hope of Christ.

How long before He forgets our nation, which we have been born into? Do not be fooled by this glossed over missive.

Apparently, the obummer really isn't a natural born citizen. The war against Christianity & Judaism

A non Christian government of any kind (except for Israel) cannot sustain itself. Every one of them is doomed to failure. It's because these entities leave God out of the system (and their lives). I'll be blunt and say this: If you don't see and understand this, then you don't see and understand anything for what it truly is.

Christians (and Israelis) know there is a spiritual enemy the rest of the world doesn't know of, or understand. This enemy is more sneaky and underhanded than anyone you've ever met. And this enemy is trying to set up his own government, which since he's the enemy of God, he too is doomed to failure and is determined to take as many people with him as possible.

He's working on setting up a single world system of government to be controlled by one single person. Everyone knows when you have a government with a dictator in place, he rules the roost and anyone that dissents, is expelled, jailed or killed. Simple as that. The one world system will be no different.

However, there are some huge obstacles toward making this happen. One is obviously being a Christian or Israeli nation. The people that follow those teachings know there is an omnipotent God that protects and provides everything they need.

Other obstacles are nations that follow rules of law, not whims of new leaders. Another is economic systems that are self sustaining without the rulers that be having to interfere with their successful operation. Still another is peoples that are trained to defend themselves and their families.

If you are a Christian or an Israeli, then you know why these are systems blessed by God to operate generously for all involved.

Faith of a nation

But let's look at some of the obstacles. First, there is the Christian/Israeli (Judaism) based nation. If you are not of either of these faiths, then you don't understand why they think and act the way they do. It seems crazy and self limiting with no visible successful future.

Some would say it's crazy to follow a God you can't see, hear, touch, feel, etc. That's also why most people ignore the notion that the enemy of the world is working on setting up his power base. I can't see or hear this enemy, so he can't possibly exist. I can't see or hear your brain, yet you have one that functions, so what pray tell is the difference?

Some say these faiths are self limiting because spend all their time telling everyone what they can't do, instead of what they can. The only reason anyone of these faiths has ever spent time telling people what they can't do is because they know for the most part it will endanger their faith and relationship with the Almighty. Granted, quite a few over history have taken it way to far, but this is the basic reason it happens. The problem is they spend too much time on the can't portion and ignore the can portion. The can portions are what get's God Almighty to bless us in more unimaginable ways than we can count to enrich our lives more than they ever have been. But they stay stuck on the can't part.

So the outsiders (Christians call them the lost) say there is no future in this faith because they don't see beyond their noses. All I can say is you haven't read and understood the book.

The rule of law

Nations that set up rules of law don't have to make new laws every day because the rules are established to start with. The biggest reason new laws need to be made up in these systems is that somebody figured out how to pervert the interpretation of the established laws in a new way not exploited before. Rules of law also prevent someone from coming along and completely changing how things work just because they don't like or agree with it. This has shown to be the most stable form of government yet (other than a theocracy that actually follows the Almighty).

Economic forces

Every nation has it's own economic system, whether it be similar to any other nation or not. Many work the same as they are modeled after other nation's systems because the people either like it or are experienced with it. As time progresses, different nations economies have been dominant over others as each nation grows and/or changes. One nation may flourish above all others for an extended period of time until someone comes into power than has learned to manipulate it to his liking and basically destroys it, then another pops up to take it's place.

In modern times, we still see this, even with many nations gathering their prospective economic forces to try to topple the dominant one, as is what is happening to the USA right now. It's no different than several nations getting their military forces together to try to eliminate a problem elsewhere. It's interesting how some would throw a fit and say how horrible war is, when the monetary wars are even bigger threats to their well being. After all, you can't conduct a war without the money to buy the war machine parts (nor can you defend yourself). So, why not go after the money?

Everybody hates being wrong. Most people don't really understand war. Is it pretty? No. Is it necessary? Yes. That's when most people who don't understand turn and run away screaming warmonger, killer etc. They're simply afraid they will find out they are wrong about their own beliefs and understanding.

Is the war the answer? Not all the time. Sometimes, there will be reasonable parties involved that can sit at a table and actually make an agreement they'll stick to and all of us can take them at their word. How many times does that happen though? Not many, over the course of history. Usually, it may start out that way, but then somebody gets tired of the banter and starts killing things and the next thing you know, all out war breaks out.

It's basically understanding that if you want to teach the bully a lesson he'll truly understand, you kick his butt.

The easiest to understand example is this: since the rest of the world has been unable to kick the butt of uncle sam, then they go after his money.

Protection

What is your best bet against loss/failure in our economy up until now? Insurance. Insurance is one of the double edge swords we all must deal with. It's great to have in case of a severe loss, but it doesn't stop the loss, it only attempts to aid in the recovery of the loss. On the other hand, insurance is simply you betting against yourself.

You buy a life insurance policy. It has all sorts of "if" "ands" and "but" clauses, but essentially, you're betting the insurance company you'll die before they say you will. You essentially are saying I'll give you so much money every so often and if I live past this point, you give it back. If I don't, then give somebody else a bigger pile of it.

Auto policies are a bit different as you're paying them up front to help you pay later on for a loss. Since insurance companies have been in business for longer than you've been alive, they've been able to take money, invest it, and earn much more in return. When you pay for your policy, they put the money in these investments and may have to use some of their returns to pay for your accidents.

How do nations get insurance? Mainly, they pay for it. They may pay larger nations, or invest in large military organizations, but they pay. There are some nations that are large enough to be benevolent to smaller nations and offer protection to them simply because they like the smaller guy and wish to give him a fighting chance at survival or maybe they get a price break on raw materials, etc.

So, a large nation gives a small nation protection, much like insurance companies do your car. The small nation may not have to fork out as much money as say a mid size nation does and the mid size one gets jealous. He gets a lot of other nations to join him in his jealousy. Next thing you know, all these other nations jump on the big nation all because someone else was selfish. Millions upon millions of people die for this throughout history. Sounds really like we're a smart bunch, eh?

Perspective

In order to begin to understand where I'm going, you must understand right from wrong. To do this, you must be able to discern good from evil and the inherent differences. Not being able to do this will disable your ability to make sense of this.

How have seemingly Christian and Israeli nations failed to understand this? They start out with the right intent, then the next thing you know you have things like the Spanish Inquisition. It gets out of hand because someone perverts the original intent of the structure, all in the name of God. Then everyone else holds it against them for way too many generations, all the while someone else is setting things up to do the same thing.

This is how dictators come to power. Someone figures out how to pervert the system they live with just enough to disrupt things until chaos results. Then they or someone else jumps in to "save the day", only to really take charge for their own result. Then the next thing you know, they're in charge. They do away with all the old rules because they apparently didn't work anyway. So at that point, anyone left standing is subject to the new rules and you either change or die.

How do you get insurance against this? Okay, you're a resident of some small island in the south pacific and one particular guy in the military convinces enough of his fellow militia-mates he's better suited to run things and he takes over with the backing and protection of his mates. He changes the rules and he's set for life, or until somebody bigger and meaner comes along. Enter the insurance policy nation who comes to clean up. War ensues and the bad guys usually leave or die, unless the insurance policy nation gives up or changes it mind (loses it's resolve).

Where do we go from here?

So, when the biggest insurance policy nation in history goes down, who will save the day? Who will stop a dictator from taking over?

The answer is nobody. At least from an earthly perspective.

The United States of America has been the biggest insurance policy nation in history ever. We've not exploited it to take over other nations. Every time we've gotten involved, we've trained them and backed them until they were able to exist on their own. At least until the Vietnam war. We stopped the aggressors, trained them and set them up to be on their own, and then jerked the rug out from under them. That in turn allowed the previously defeated aggressors to overrun them within a matter of hours.

This wasn't how it used to be. Take WW2 for example. Yes, we invaded a lot of countries, but we eventually left each one intact and able to stand on it's own. And they have all benefited and flourished because of it. One of the aggressor nations top leaders was asked if they would have invaded the USA during the war and he said no because there was a gun behind every blade of grass. They would not have survived.

But for some reason during the Vietnam war, powerful people in our nation sided with the aggressors and began to say we were the bad guys doing atrocious things and eventually spineless leaders here gave up and left them (the south Vietnamese) to die. It showed 2 things about these powerful people. They cared more about their political ideals than people and it showed they hated their country by literally stabbing it and the ones we were trying to help in the back.

History

Now, in any given society and time, there is always trouble makers. Somebody is always trying to stir things up. But this time, it's not the same. The aggressor is playing for keeps and we will all lose this time. There are no other insurance nations to bail out the unfortunate ones. This is it.

The forces that be have been tearing down the USA for a long time, crumb by crumb. Now, they're able to take large chunks down at a time. Look what has happened in the last 6 months. The government has taken over the economy and the financial institutions that keep it running. They are taking over the large manufacturing companies that have made us strong and benevolent.

There are few things left that are not under the control of the government here any more. Some of those key elements are your faith, your own personal economy, your insurance (or protection) and ultimately your freedom of choice.

Your faith is your most powerful resource. It conducts your path, your decisions and actions. It's what guides you. Your personal economy is your ability to make money. Money is the tool you use to get things done. Your protection is what keeps you breathing and able to function. Without protection, you're vulnerable to attack. Your freedom of choice is what allows you and only you to make the best decision possible.

Take those away and you are left with fear. No hope, no future, no direction. Just plain empty fear.

Your money is worthless, your food is gone, water is bad and your guns are destroyed. What to do, what to do....

Enter the one world government.

The one world government will disguise itself as your insurance policy against fear. You will no longer have to fear aggression, lack of sustenance, or any other thing because this big brother will be just that. Your protective and providing big brother.

He will subdue your fear, feed you, clothe you, house you, employ you and you'll be all happy inside again. Time will pass, then you'll learn that the choices you once had are gone. Your treasures are gone or worthless. You'll lose sight of your memories, then your hope will be fading and then you'll begin to ask yourself who will protect me from my big brother because he's beginning to look like he has ulterior motives. Your best interests are your big brother's least.

He will even provide you with a new faith that doesn't seem to have any value other than making sure you praise big brother.

You'll begin to notice that even though big brother has assured you that aggression is no longer an activity tolerated, he is now the biggest purveyor of it. He will exert horrible aggression against anyone simply questioning his actions and motives.

What will you do? Who will protect you from him? How will you ever be delivered from this oppression? Suddenly, the fear is greater than it ever was.

What will you do?

It will be at this point, you will remember this: I have the answer. You will begin to cry out who can rescue me, who can overcome my big brother? But your problem will be compounded by the surrounding situation.

Your faith will no longer be guiding your actions, your fear will be doing that. We're all afraid of pain and of dying and those will be the biggest tools in the big brother toolbox. If you begin to work on your faith now, you will not have to experience this fear.

The only way you will overcome this is by preparing now. You can begin to stock up on water, food, fuel, guns, but they will not prevail this far. Big brother will see to it that you don't have those luxuries and protections. The only thing left will be your faith and that faith will be in the One omnipotent almighty Jehovah God. He will be the one who will be able to be your insurance policy against an evil big brother.

My point exactly

But be warned, your faith will be in the direct line of fire of this big brother entity. It already is. He has managed to divide the faithful up throughout time. Look at all the different denominations that has sprung out of Christianity alone. There's too many to count. He's got us arguing about what the word of God means rather than living and practicing by it.

We now have a person in the head chair of our nation who has expressed disdain for the Christian faith (he's accused us of clinging to our bibles and guns). He has expressed his desire and intention to enable and monetarily support things that are diametrically opposed to the Christian and Judaism's faith. (abortion) He actually went on a world tour in the last couple of weeks to explain to all the other nations of the world that we are no longer a Christian nation. (He just didn't bother to ask anyone else)

What are we doing about this? Why, we're cheering him along! I lost a dear friend this week because of this. I had asked them to send an email to the president asking him to reconsider his words of disdain for the TEA party participants where he simply mocked them instead of listened to them. Because of this, my friend told me I was "being mean and they didn't want to hear my political b.s. and that it was nice knowing me". All because the enemy has managed to fool more people than we can imagine, and especially my friend.

The USA is headed down a slope they may never return from if they don't wise up and return to their Christian heritage. We have to return to honoring God and putting his kingdom ahead of ours. We have to praise Him instead of mocking Him. If we don't, there are no insurance nations left to deliver us. We're on our own, and that is truly a scary place to be without the Lord God Almighty on our side.

We were supposed to have a family reunion at my sister's house in Orlando over Christmas, but due to my dad falling and breaking his leg, we postponed it til March. So with much hand wringing and schedule conflicts, we picked a week to attempt the get together.

The Mrs. wasn't able to get her schedule to work out, so we had decided to not go (much to the rest of the family's displeasure). After much prodding from my sister's husband, I decided I would go alone since my wife had to be on call for her job. So since I didn't have the available vacation days for the entire week, I picked 2 days to go down there, hoping to make them a Mon-Tues trip so I could go on Sunday afternoon and get a full day there to relax before returning home.

Turns out, since my sister's husband was buying the tickets, I went on a Tues-Wed. Early Tues flight down and later Wed flight back. I'd be tired Thurs going to work, but it'd be nice to see the whole family together (which had not happened in a very long time).

I flew out of Indianapolis which is about 2.5 hrs away from my house and since the flight was leaving at 6:30 I figured I'd have to be out of bed by 1 in the morning, so I drove up the Indy the night before and got a hotel. That should have been an indicator of the next couple of days, but I didn't think that much of it. I couldn't find the motel per the mapping instructions off the motel website, so I tried to use my Verizon phone GPS, but it wouldn't work. Ain't technology grand?? I finally found the motel about an hour later.

Next morning, got up about 4 and made it to the gate about an hour before scheduled takeoff. I flew Southwest which if you haven't flown on it, you're in for a real treat. At least now they have a plane loading method that keeps the stampede to a minimum, but it's still stadium seating on the plane. (Like your seat? Don't leave it then or somebody else may get it). Anyway, the cattle prods were kept out of site as we got on the plane and found a seat.

So far, so good.

Not.

I was about 7 or 8 rows into the plane and could see easily into the cockpit. Usually, just before takeoff, the cockpit door is closed, just before the cabin door to the ramp is closed. I looked at my watch and noticed we were a few minutes past departure time and the cockpit door was still open. Hmm, I'm wondering if we're going to get to leave on time.....

Suddenly, the captain jumps up and runs out of the cockpit and up the cattle ramp. I'm thinking to myself, I thought the captain was supposed to stay with his ship until everyone was off in case of an emergency, not get to be the first one running away like a little girl.

While I'm sitting there pondering this, (as I'm sure some of the other passengers must have noticed), the co-pilot gets up, finds a flashlight, then starts to crawl around on the cockpit floor looking under and behind the seats looking for something. Before I had the sense to keep my mouth shut, I found myself asking out loud "Did you lose the keys??" That got other people's attention and the murmuring got kind of loud. Then the attendant that took my bording pass upon entering the cattle ramp grabbed the microphone and informed us that the plane systems needed to be powered off and since it was dark outside, we had to deplane.

Of course, I'm a little over overcautious because my concern right at that second was he was the guy that took my boarding pass, which would never be seen again, in the first place. So, they make us get off the plane and everybody is standing around the gate not wanting to stray too far in fear on not being to get back on the plane (since NOBODY has a boarding pass now).

My sister, who was really excited and anxious for me to come and be with everyone there, was still asleep in her cozy bed at home. Since I had gotten up early for this, I decided that maybe she needed to know what was going on, since her hubby was supposed to pick me up at the airport at a certain time, (based on a pre-scheduled arrival time). So much for the schedule.

Anyway, I started sending her text msgs telling her my flight is being delayed. After about the 5th or 6th text msg, she called and asked what was going on. So, I postulated that maybe the crew had lost the keys to the plane, it wouldn't start or perhaps it was just a simple reboot procedure. I did inform her that they had told us that they were summoning an official mechanic to try to decipher whatever the problem was, whether he was coming in from across the field or across the planet, we didn't know, but someone was due to help and soon!

After I got off the phone, a gentleman standing next to me was discussing the plight with his son who just happened to ask if they really lost the keys to the plane. I was amused that they were listening, but then he asked about rebooting the plane. So, I opted to but into their conversation by asking his son if he had a computer at home. His reply was yes, so I asked him have you ever done something on the pc that locked it up and it wouldn't do anything until you disconnected the power? His reply was yes. I told him that's what they're doing with the plane.

Eventually, they got it rebooted and we were on our way about an hour and 10 mins late. Yay, we're on our way to sunny Florida!!

Well, this not only put a wrench in the travel gears of the people on the plane, it affected the lives of other surrounding the flight, most pointedly, my ride from the airport to my sister's house. Since my brother in law couldn't be there at the proposed new arrival time, they sent MY brother, who is from Missouri....not Orlando.

Why is this important? Well, my sister had just bought a new house the previous year and this would be the first time all of us had been there. Which also means we weren't familiar with the travel route to and from the airport, by we I mean me and my brother.

Anyway, his timing was incredible as he pulled up just as I walked out the doors from the terminal. Didn't even have to stop walking.

So, I jump in the car with him and we start to sis's house. He tells me he needs gas, so we have to find a station on the way back. We finally find one and he jumps out to fuel up, then sticks his head back in the car and asks if I have 5 bucks because he forgot his wallet. Ok, that's the least I can do since he's providing the lift, so I gave him a 5. He puts fuel in and uses my phone to call my brother in law to check directions back to the house so we don't get lost.

Ok, we're good to go now.

Not.

We leave the station and start toward their new beautiful home. As we're jabbering in the car, not realizing we've been driving for 15-20 mins, suddenly we notice that we're not in town any more, but out in the middle of nowhere. There's nothing around us, just scrub growing along the roadside....and to top that off, my cell phone doesn't get any signal (yes my unfortunate brother must've got woke up too early because he forgot his phone too) Thanks Verizon.

Just then, I notice laying in a heap on the dash is a Magellan GPS unit that wasn't hooked up. (He had borrowed it from my sister to find a place the day before). So, I hook it up and type in her address so we can finally get back to her house. It says to continue on the road we're on. Next thing you know, we're passing a sign welcoming us to Titusville. The Magellen tells us to turn at the next highway and we dutifully follow the instruction.

We're driving along jabbering away catching up etc when all of the sudden the the Magellan tells us we've reached our destination. Minor problem tho: We're still out in the middle of nowhere, no bldgs, just scrub plants and the highway. About a mile later, we see a sign that says welcome to Cocoa Beach. At least now I have a phone signal, which means I can use the Verizon GPS in it to find my way to her house, so I unplug the trusty Magellan and we feed the Verizon to get us back.

Now, my brother informs me that we're outta gas again, so we go to Cocoa Beach and I bought him 20$ this time in case we had any other travel delays on the way back. We finally get to her house and I'm relieved that I'm only 3.5 hrs later upon arrival than originally projected. The rest of the day goes on pretty well, except that nobody in my family wanted to cut up the baked whole chicken my niece prepared for us for dinner - yes, I cut up the chicken...took 1/2 an hour, but I got em cut!)

Wed morning is my 18th anniversary. My wife is home and I'm 800+ miles away. I feel bad about this. Then I turn on my phone to find a text from the Mrs. wishing me happy anniversary. I guess things aren't so bad.

I watch the sunrise over the small lake behind the house from the 2nd floor bedroom and really liked it. Very relaxing. I take a shower and plan to be lazy the rest of the day before returning home.

A couple hrs later I learn we're going fishing in Daytona Beach. So, we get to the pier and rent poles, buy bait, etc and proceed to feed the birds. As soon as we open the bag of shrimp and turn to cast a line in the water, the birds pounce on the bag and begin to steal the shrimp. We spend the rest of the day getting windburn rebaiting hooks. No fish, but wind and smell. The beach looked nice, since they were preparing for the spring break rush.

As the day proceeds, the wind gets stronger and my favorite hat ended up in the Atlantic somewhere. We catch 0 fish. My brother's wife drives me back to Orlando (thru rush hour traffic) and my sister takes me to the airport. I'm beginning to wonder about getting to the flight in time as Orlando airport has a lot more people going thru it than Indy does. But, I'm worried over nothing as my arrival at the gate is 20 mins before scheduled departure.

SCHEDULED departure.

I grab something to eat since I haven't eaten all day and sit down to relax before coming home. I call the Mrs. to let her know I'm at the airport and to wish her happy anniversary (since I was missing it). As we're talking, I happened to glance at my watch and the time is now 10 mins past scheduled departure. I look out the window and there's no plane.

I tell the wife I'll call her back and head to the info booth at which time I see the flight has been rescheduled to an hour later. They must've never got caught up from the day before when they lost the keys.

I finally got home about 1.5 hrs after the original expected time. Thankfully, God gave me a safe journey and I enjoyed the time with the family (even tho none us were smart enough to take a group photo).

Should I be concerned that the govt is working with cell phone service providers to shut down entire networks with the flip of a switch in case of an emergency? Yeah, there's no security like a state full of scared to death people with no method of communication with those outside of their region.

Should I be concerned that the govt is more concerned with law abiding citizens wanting to get together to target plink than they are muslim extremists who already have multiple training camps in the US?

Maybe I should spend more time worrying about the digital tv switchover. Some people say that is being forced on us because it's a better technology. Others say it's because the digital image production makes it easier to pass subliminal msgs. I personally don't know, but it does cost a lot more money, and even with the advent of 500 channels, there's still nothing worth watching on tv any more...except for this.

When will you people learn that most information coming from the news media is not exactly all there? Some would call it outright lying, but they throw in just enough truth to make even the most wary person get sucked in. Take this gem from greenwatchAmerica....

Most Egregious Claim of the Week:

The United Nations got on the "Earth Hour" band wagon this week, agreeing to go dark as part of the "largest demonstration of public concern about climate change ever attempted." They claimed that not only was the choice a "vote for the future of planet Earth," but that it would also save them money. A lot of money.

In fact, they claimed turning off the lights in the UN for Earth Hour would save them $81,000. Extrapolate that out. If they pay 81,000 dollars an hour for electricity, they would pay $1,944,000.00 per day, $58,320,000.00 or so per month, and $709,560,000.00 for the year.

After seeing that this initial projection of $81,000 dollars saved didn't quite add up, the UN reduced its estimate to $24,000 saved for the hour. But that too didn't come close to making sense, so they finally came out with a third estimate: Turning the lights off for Earth Hour would save the United Nations a grand total of $102.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

Practically everything coming from the government is mis-information, and especially from political parties. How else could some of the captains of virtue get elected???

Always remember, that whenever a certain political group spends time publicly blaming someone else for a problem, it usually means they've already done it and simply want to cast blame on someone else. It doesn't really matter if the one they're pointing at actually is guilty or not, just as long as someone else gets investigated for their guilt. Liberals are particularly good at this.

For example, look at all the new cabinet appointees and nominees... Quite a few of them have some serious problems committing crimes by not paying taxes. Nobody in the media seems to be putting pressure on them to submit to body cavity searches, self imposed jail time and public floggings. Because if these were a conservatives, you'd bet this would be the least of their demands.

If you don't click the links, it's a couple of news articles about a guy in Arizona that had several illegal mexicans sue him because he stopped them and held them at gunpoint until authorities arrived to arrest them. (May God richly bless and protect this guy.)

I can't even begin to understand why this even was allowed to be filed successfully. This guy deserves a medal of honor in my opinion for at least trying to slow the flow of illegals into the country.

The whiny baby president you jokers just elected is upset that the republicans in the senate actually still have some sense. He's under some false assumption that spending a trillion dollars on nothing helpful will fix things.

Obummer is trying to pin the blame for the current economic mess on the previous president, while the problem is actually the result of his own parties' making. Just look at how many times the DemocRAT leaders in the finance committes kept saying over and over fannie mae and freddie mac are perfectly sound, then they just up and died, taking the rest of the world's economic stability with it.

If I'm not mistaken, the previous president and several members of his cabinet and political party tried several times through both terms to fix the problem and was blocked by the democRATs.

Yeah, that's change we can believe in. Not.

The upcoming digital TV change out has brought some people to question our government motives. Of course, everyone should question them at times, but who's really behind this plot to make us spend more money and drive us crazy at the same time?? You need to watch this video just to make sure you get what I'm saying...

I had forwarded this to some of my friends and my friend Pete comments that:

"I still think it is a ploy to get the last few dinosaurs to get cable or a Dish!"

I used to actually think something very similar to what was said in jest, but I believe this is backed by obviously, the tv industry to get new equipment everywhere (everybody always likes new stuff), but also the entertainment conglomerates want it as well.

But what I have put together lately really makes it make sense, at least in my head. The frequencies that the cell phone companies use are in the same spectrum that the analog tv carriers use, but there are only so many bandwidth's available to the cell carriers. When the FCC releases new bandwidth sections to be be purchased for use by certain companies, the cell phone companies spend inordinate amounts of cash on it in bidding wars.

Usually these frequency bands are made available the changes in military technology where they abandon use the of old stuff for new things then it becomes available for use by the commercial industries.

Freeing up the current spectrum used by the analog tv providers will allow the cell companies to buy tons more of spectrum use, more than they could currently use. What reward do they get for this? They will be able to start providing George Jetson style video phones to everyone, finally driving a nail in the coffin of the land line phone companies businesses.

That's my take on it. (No, I don't work for anything closely resembling phone business/mfg/distribution/etc.)

So, surely the rocket car can't be far behind, right??

Understanding the meaning of words: FAIL

I was just accosted by 2 coworkers who asked me if I wanted Obummer to fail. I said yes I did. I want him to fail at all his leftist policies and practices. Our nation cannot afford it.

Their response was they couldn't believe I wanted my country to fail. I said you're wrong on all counts. Just the opposite, I want my nation to succeed on all counts, beyond my wildest dreams I want my nation to succeed.

Again their response was that if Obummer fails, the nation fails. My response was that if Obummer succeeds, my nation fails. (It's all in interpretation)

One of the 2 quickly drifted away at this point. However the other wanted to argue on, so I stuck it out.

He said he was tired of liberal and conservative media. He said he didn't like the hatred coming from conservative media, but failed to mention what he didn't like about liberal media. I asked what hatred was coming from conservative media, as he had mentioned Rush Limbaugh. Well, it's all just spewed hatred. When I asked him how he defined hatred, he switched to calling it spewed divisiveness. I said I didn't have a problem with that, so what was wrong?

I actually took the time to look up divisiveness and the definition is:

–adjective
1. forming or expressing division or distribution.

2. creating dissension or discord.

Hatred however has a slightly different meaning:

Strong aversion; intense dislike; hate; an affection of the mind awakened by something regarded as evil.

I will say this....Rush does call a spade a spade. Liberalism is evil. I don't hate liberals, but I do have an intense dislike for their beliefs, actions and ideas.

How can this be? It's because hatred isn't defined well enough here to understand the difference. A biblical definition can be made this way. 1 John 3:15 says that whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer.

So, I can discern by this that if I really dislike someone enough to want them dead, then I hate him. So, by this definition, conservative radio (for the most part) isn't spewing hatred. It could be construed as divisiveness, which if it is, then so be it. (I believe somebody has to stir up the people of this nation before we perish.)

As a matter of fact, he's only spewing the truth. And if liberals hate anything, it's having to deal with the truth. Take the definition of evil: morally wrong or bad....the wicked or immoral part of someone or something. Liberals have redefined evil as anything that disagrees with their ideals so they don't have to deal with the moral part of evil (or what is the truth of the matter...you know, right and wrong).

But let's go back for a minute. I said that this was all in interpretation. Let's take a look at the previous administration. The media and practically everyone who didn't vote for George Bush, wanted him to fail, or went ahead and outright claimed he was a failure. The guy that stayed to argue with me said that Bush was a failure from 9-11 on.

Oh really?

So, it's ok to call the opposition a failure, but if I think your party should not be successful in dragging us further down the drain, I'm asking the nation to fail?

Indiana supreme court rulings: FAIL

Good Lord, it's no wonder Indiana ranked 49th in the 50 states in education a few years back (at least we're up in the middle of the pack now). Apparently, some of those who were educated here during that time now sit on the state supreme court and some appeals courts as well....

The retarded city officials at Gary, IN have sued 16 gun mfr's claiming "guns are a public nuisance" and the highly "educated" people sitting on the highest bench in Indiana said the case should proceed. I'm sorry, how can a gun be a public nuisance???

If you leave something laying on the ground and someone trips over it, is the item on the ground the problem? No, the tard that left it laying there is the problem. If it was your sweater that your grandma hand knitted for you and somebody else left it on the ground, are you gonna sue granny?

If somebody doesn't clean the local park statues and they start rusting, are they a nuisance? I guess they could be, but that is only the result of someone not cleaning them, again the statue wasn't the problem, the lamebrain that didn't do his job is, or possibly his boss for not getting him to do the job in the first place. Or, maybe the city council for putting the statue up in the first place.

ATTENTION all you politically correct wanna-be's and think-you-are's: The gun isn't a nuisance unless the gun bearer is causing it to be a nuisance. Guns don't go off by themselves, it takes a warm body to pull the trigger or swat you upside the head with it.

Squirrels are a nuisance because they frequently destroy perfectly good bird feeders, but nobody is suing them. Winter weather is a definite nuisance, but I am most certainly not going to even try to sue God. Al Gore is a nuisance to the entire human race, but he didn't get sued.

I'm thinking since this retardo lawsuit is really aimed at trying to make someone pay for Gary's inability to enforce the law or it's just a politically correct cop-out. Either way, how it got past the first hearing is beyond my comprehension of common sense.

I'm wondering why car makers aren't being sued for the same exact thing because the gang members have to drive something in their driveby's. And what about clothing mfrs....these criminals have to wear something. Just wait, after the lawsuit, we'll have naked gangsters riding bikes shooting at people with slingshots or worse, flinging rotten fruit.

Of course, I've seen some clothing that the mfrs need to be brought up on charges anyway, regardless if the wearer had a gun or not, but that's another story....

Good Lord, even McDonald's should probably be investigated, at minimum, as these turkeys have to eat in order to sustain their nuisance-ness.

My minimum suggestion is to stay away from Gary, IN....as far away as you can. Ultimately, it's obvious a lot of people involved in this affair need prayers as well. Please don't forget them.
